Year Six Make the Most of PGL

Wow! What a brilliant week we had! To say it was fun-filled and action-packed would be an understatement. From the giant swing to abseiling, completing a sensory trail to zooming down a zip wire, everyone dared new challenges and worked together as a team. We learnt new skills during archery and rifle shooting and new fun games that we hope to use again at school, whilst playing ‘aeroball’ and the sports and team games. From as soon as we arrived until we left, our days were filled with activities at dizzying heights, eating, singing songs, more activities, learning new skills, more eating and of course some sleeping! We sang and danced around a campfire, we played ‘ambush’ in the woods at night and dressed up and danced the night away at the disco, too. Even Mrs Allen and Mr Durrant got involved in some of the activities! The challenge course proved to be the muddiest and wettest activity, tied with the raft building – where of course a few of us ended up as ‘swimmers’ in the lake! We all had an amazing time and didn’t want to leave!
