Transforming the Playground

Transforming the Grounds

It was amazing to see the faces of the children and parents on Monday morning when I opened the gate, as over the Easter holidays the playground had a jaw dropping transformation. It seems to have gone down very well with everyone at the school.

The dry grass area had been dug up and artificial grass was put into its place. All the woodchips had gone as well and a new rubber mulch surface had been laid.

I have watched the children this week rolling around on the grass, enjoying cartwheeling and generally having a good time with their friends.

It’s so lovely to think that this all-weather area can be used all year round, not just when the sun is shining and it is dry.
