People Who Help Us, a Visit from the Police

Last week as part of their People Who Help Us Topic, Pre-School and Reception were lucky enough to welcome two Police Officers to school. PC Kirsty Stephens and PCSO Steve Graves from the Sidcup team talked to the children about many aspects of their job. There was lots of useful information about what to do should you get lost when you are out and advice on how to stay safe. The children were particularly interested to find out about all the different pieces of equipment the police carry, including handcuffs, truncheon and radio. The children were even lucky enough to get to try on hats at the end of the visit. We are very grateful to our local Police Team for taking the time to visit us and hope they can come again soon.
