Last Wednesday Year Three took a trip back through time to the Stone Age. We had an amazing adventure and, for a day, lived like real Stone Age people.
On Friday, Reception hosted an Afternoon Tea to thank their Mummies and Daddies for everything they do for them.
Benedict House has been remembering those who have sacrificed so much to make our world a better place, as we have paid our respects on the Centenary of Armistice Day .
Our Reception children had a fabulous time on their first visit to Wickham Court for Forest School.
Before Half Term, Reception went on their first ever school trip as a class. They visited Hall Place and were amazed to learn how big it is there and about all the different things you can do.
Last Thursday, we were treated to an inspirational visit by a fantastic young GB Athlete, Peter Bakare.
As part of our Stone Age topic this term, Year Three have been working hard both in the classroom and at home to produce some fantastic pieces of work.
Sparkling jewels, impressive sentries, tales of terror and majestic kings and queens – our day at the Tower of London was jam-packed full of fascinating facts and stories!
A huge thanks to the Friends of Benedict House for our new equipment and toys to enhance our children’s experience, and especially for our fabulous gazebo!

A huge thank you, and well done, to everybody who took part in, and came to support, Sports Day. There were so many examples of great sportsmanship and outstanding effort on display, which created a really positive spirit all round.
Our grateful thanks, once again, go to Mrs MacInnis, Chair of The Friends, and her team of Mrs Green, Mrs Summon, Mrs Singh and Mrs Moreland who put in so much hard work to make our annual Summer Fayre such a huge success.
On Wednesday, Year Four went to Greenwich for the day. Whilst there, the children travelled to the Thames Barrier by boat.
Year Six enjoyed a fantastic week on PGL, learning new skills and enjoying many different challenges.
Last week, Pre-School and Reception went on a lovely trip to Shorne Woods Country Park.
Last Wednesday, the Friends of Benedict House hosted a Grandparents' Coffee Morning.
Pre-School have returned after the Easter break eager to explore their new topic all about Planting and Growing.
Competition was fierce as the annual school Easter Egg Rolling Competition took place in the last week of term! Spectators were, too, in awe of the inspirational creations of some of the Easter Bonnets.
