Green Fingers in Pre-School

Pre-School have returned after the Easter break eager to explore their new topic all about Planting and Growing. The children have been finding out all about what plants need to grow and looking at the life cycles of plants. Pupils have been making full use of the recent good weather by going outside and tidying up their garden. They have been creating a vegetable patch and planting carrots, tomatoes, lettuces, cucumbers and peas. Pre-School have also planted their own Sunflower seeds in pots and are taking great care of them by ensuring they have water and are out in the sun. The children are all hoping that their green fingers will soon produce shoots, and are checking daily for signs of growth.
