Early Years visit to Outer Space

WOW! Pre-School and Reception did not know what to expect when they approached the Astrodome! They were transported to the night sky; full of stars, constellations and unexpected aliens. Mr Starman took us to the moon and explored the planets and the Milky Way. We particularly enjoyed seeing the shooting stars and even spotted a cow jumping over the moon! The best part was when we had to look at the star formations and work out which animals and objects we could see. The children were amazed and genuinely thought they had flown to outer space. We have completed our journey by watching some videos of rockets blasting off into Space and we were able to see life inside a rocket with zero gravity. It was particularly funny when astronauts were asleep, as they have to be strapped down so they do not float away!
