The School Library supports many of the subjects in the curriculum. In addition, the School makes use of educational television programmes and DVD’s. Journeys to places of interest, both historical and general, are arranged for all classes.
Homework is considered a very important feature of the education offered by the School, and prospective parents are advised that as pupils progress through¬out the School , they will be required to complete their homework. The time allocated will vary according to age.
Written reports are prepared twice a year and during the year a formal parents evening is arranged so that parents have the opportunity to discuss their child’s progress with their Form Teacher and view class-work and projects.
The school offers a morning care and after-school care scheme to assist working parents. The school opens at 8.00am and closes at 5.OOpm. for this purpose.
